Z Bar Cabins and Motel

With its beautiful park-like grounds, friendly staff, and comfortable rustic cabins, the Z Bar Cabins and Motel is a great place for guests to experience the tranquility of the Bighorn Mountains with the convenience of all that Buffalo has to offer.

Through the years renovations, most of the cabins have been restored to their original charm and beauty of post World War II America in which they were built. The original log cabins were built using hand-hewn, Swedish cope logs cut from the Bighorn Mountains, just up the road of what is now U.S. Highway 16. The fireplace in the lobby was built using stones gathered from Clear Creek.

What makes the Z Bar Cabins and Motel special are the people, the nature, the history, and the down-home feel of the town reflected in the cabins and motel.
