This wary buck mule deer stops at the crest of the hill after being spooked away from a watering hole for a final look at the cowboy watering himself and his horse. Created by local artist William Hugh Jennings and installed in 2011, the sculpture complements “Cool Water” on Highway 16 at the Visitors Center.
