Surviving the Raids (History Presentation)
The Johnson County Historical Society presents award-winning author and historian Janelle Molony, who will speak on the emigrant experiences during the 1864 Platte River raids in eastern Wyoming.
Molony is the author of Emigrant Tales of the Platte River Raids. She will sign copies of her book following the presentation.
The event will take place at 3 p.m. on Sunday, August 11, in the Twing Room at the Library.
These historical presentations are always free and open to the public. Come to learn a little more about Wyoming history.
