Longmire Days (Day 2)
The annual Longmire Days celebration presented by the Longmire Foundation, continues on Friday, July 18.
Several members of the Longmire cast have confirmed their attendance for this year, including Robert Taylor, Louanne Stephens, A. Martinez, and John Bishop, along with author Craig Johnson.
Events planned for that day:
- 2025 Longmire Days 5k and Fun Run
5-kilometer run, 1-mile fun run/walk.
Prosinksi Park, 8:30-10:30 a.m.

- Autograph Session with Craig and Longmire Cast Members
This is the most sought-after ticket during the Longmire Days event. Please limit your items to be signed to two per ticket-holder.
Bomber Mountain Civic Center.
Tickets will be sold in three separate one-hour sessions: 11:00 a.m., Noon, or 1:00 p.m.
Ticket required – $40.
- Raptor Shows
The Black Hills Raptors have a mission to conserve and protect native birds of prey and their natural habitats through education, rehabilitation, and research.
Washington Park, shows at 11 a.m. and noon.
No ticket required,
- Talking with Marcus Red Thunder Sr.
A question-and-answer session with the Native American advisor for the Longmire television series. Due to demand for this event, seating capacity has been expanded.
The Playhouse, noon to 1 p.m.

- Secrets of The Hole-In-The-Wall
Experts on the history of the Hole in the Wall will agree that we do not know all of the secrets of this marvelously beautiful, Red Wall country. Native Americans, wildlife, outlaws, in-laws, wolfers, trappers, cowboys, and more have called the area behind and near this Red Wall home. Jim Gatchell’s daughter, Thelma Gatchell Condit, first female president of the Wyoming Historical Society wrote articles about the Hole in the Wall that were published in several Annals of Wyoming in the 1950s. She too lived with her family near the Red Wall. Local history librarian Nancy Tabb will share many of Thelma’s secrets and a few more during her talk.

Listen as Craig Johnson and Gail Hochman talk about the adventures in getting a novel written and published. These two experts in their field are happy to share their knowledge and experiences with you.

- A Longmire Conversation
This panel event will be attended by Craig Johnson, Robert Taylor, Louanne Stephens, A. Martinez, and John Bishop. Hear the behind-the-scenes stories from the people who experienced it first hand.
