Saturdays in the Square (2)
The 2025 Saturdays in the Square continues on Saturday, July 12, with a concert featuring performances from North Fork Crossing, Prairie Wildfire, and Wes Urbaniak.
This is a free concert series organized by Lobban Street Music.
North Fork Crossing, based in Bozeman, Montana, is a new-age bluegrass band that resides between the traditional music world with their timeless fiddle tunes and ballads, and the jamgrass community with their intricate improvisation and energetic peaks. With the addition of modern covers and old time country songs, they explore a vast terrain of genres.
Prairie Wildfire, a trio of talented musicians from Buffalo, Wyoming, plays a mix of folk, bluegrass, classic country, and Wyoming-style western. The band is known for their tight harmonies, sophisticated instrumentation, and explosive energy on stage.
Wes Urbaniak, based in Billings, Montana, plays mountain folk music — a genre full of hard stops, flash flood dynamics, and mauling measures of lyrical flow.
