Lake DeSmet Fishing Derby
The Buffalo Lions Club’s 41st annual Lake DeSmet Fishing Derby will take place on Saturday, May 24, through Monday, May 26.
More than $50,000 in prizes and cash are available with tagged fish for cash, daily prizes, daily drawings, and overall prizes. There is a cash grand prize. Daily prizes include a $100 cash prize on Saturday; $1,000 and $500 on Sunday; and $2,000 on Monday.
There is also a gun raffle and a special youth drawing for a guided elk hunt.
Tickets are available at Wa-Hoo Liquors, Outback Lounge, Lake Stop Resort, Sports Lure, and Crazy Woman Liquor.
