Unpacking the Crow Tipi

Fort Phil Kearny State Historic Site hosts a unique and lively presentation called “The First Home: Unpacking the Crow Tipi.”

The free presentation takes place at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, July 22. Bring lawn chairs for seating.

The program will explore the rich history, spiritual meaning, and ingenious design of the Apsaalooke tipi. Guests will see a tipi come together, pole by pole — a humbling and eye-opening experience.
