Sam Morton Book Signing
The Jim Gatchell Memorial Museum will host author Sam Morton for a book signing with his newest work, Never Unready, the second book in the Clan Johnston series.
Visit with Sam Morton and talk about his newest work of previous books, such as Where the Rivers Run North.
Morton’s newest book follows the Scot border family as they settle in Appalachian Pennsylvania, far from the English crown and Catholic rule. Caught between the Delaware, Shawnee, and the French army, they cross paths with George Washington, Daniel Boone, and Ben Franklin. They are witness to the multi-tribal uprising known as Pontiac’s rebellion and the worse military disaster of the 18th century for the British army.
