Built in 1903, this was the home of Dr. John Hoard Lott, his wife Ella, and their children. It also served as his medical office. The home has been remodeled and redecorated over the years, but still features the original hand-carved oak mantels, handmade glass in the windows, and one of the most beautiful staircases in Wyoming.
Following Dr. Lott’s death, Ella Lott rented out houses and served meals, beginning the home’s use as a place to stay. Dale and Margaret Young converted it to a hotel, the Mansion House, in the 1930s.
Now owned by Sammie Renfrow, the inn opened in 2024 and has seven rooms available for overnight stays — each with a private bath.
The Boho Buffalo Inn also is able to host events such as retreats, weddings, bridal showers, reunions, and more in its common spaces — the garden room, the lounge, tea room, second-floor patio, and more.
