Basque Club Annual Celebration

The Big Horn Basque Club will host its annual celebration beginning at 2 p.m. on Saturday, August 17, at Harold Jarrard Park in Kaycee.

Festivities in the arena include a sheep dog trial demonstration, sheep hooking and Calcutta, and various other games, including Mus, weight carrying, and cornhole.

A Basque Mass by Aita Egiguren will take place at 4 p.m. in the HUP Building.

Lamb dinner provided by the Big Horn Basque Club will follow the Mass. Bar and side dishes catered by the Invasion Bar.

Live Basque music performed by Jean Flesher.

Festivities are free to spectators.

Dinner tickets are $25 for adults (over 10) and $40 for couples. Members and kids under 10 eat free. They are available at 509 Fort Street in Buffalo or at the Invasion Bar in Kaycee.
