Longmire Days (Day 1)
The annual Longmire Days celebration presented by the Longmire Foundation, kicks off on Thursday, July 17.
Several members of the Longmire cast have confirmed their attendance for this year, including Robert Taylor, Louanne Stephens, A. Martinez, and John Bishop along with author Craig Johnson.

- Return To Sender: A Longmire Mystery with Craig Johnson
Spend some time with Craig Johnson as he takes you through the Red Desert with a reading from his new novel, Return to Sender, and tells entertaining stories about all things Longmire.
The Roadhouse at the TA Ranch, 9-10:30 a.m.

- Johnson County Cattle War 101
There have been many books written about the Invasion of Johnson County in April 1892. Truly, Cattle War and Invasion evoke memories of rustling, mavericks, big money, and murderers in Johnson County. Nancy Tabb, local history librarian, will talk about the basic facts and happenings of this infamous time in Johnson County’s history.

- Craig at the Jim Gatchell Memorial Museum
Join Craig Johnson and the award-winning staff of the Jim Gatchell Memorial Museum as they present a program about the early days of Johnson County and the setting of Durant, Wyoming. Learn about colorful characters in this intimate, historic venue.

- Tea with Ruby
Join Louanne Stephens for a lovely event at TA Guest Ranch with a southern-style spread worthy of Louanne’s roots. She always makes this a special event for fans of Longmire and Ruby.

- Hardware of Longmire
Things you shoot, things that go fast – you name it, it’s the hardware of Longmire with Craig Johnson and Danny Michael, the firearms curator from the Buffalo Bill Center of the West in Cody.

- VIP Reception at the TA Ranch
Connect with Craig Johnson and your favorite Longmire cast members in the Grove at the Historic TA Guest Ranch. We will be providing a heavy appetizer buffet with cash bar, music by North Hills Ropers, Native American dancers, Basque dancers, and a short raptor show. Get ready for a magical night in this gorgeous setting.

Events include barrel racing, breakaway roping, team roping, calf roping, bull riding, saddle bronc riding, steer riding (ages 8-13), and mutton busting (7 and under).
Johnson County Fairgrounds, music at 5 p.m., rodeo performance at 7 p.m.
No gate fee, numbered programs available for purchase with raffle to follow.
