The instructor for the Spring Forge-In will be Dave Osmundsen, owner of Arrowhead Forge in Buffalo. Osmundsen is a tireless advocate of blacksmithing in Wyoming and throughout the Northern Rockies. The price of the forge-in will be $225 for all three days. Students are eligible for a discount.
Smiths who participate in all three days can expect to walk home with a hand-made ax, tomahawk, and ax eye drift. On Saturday evening, WAB will hold a small auction of materials, art pieces, and tools as well as host a dinner for participants. In addition to dinner, the semi-annual WAB membership meeting will take place. On Sunday, projects will be finished and there will be a friendly competition tomahawk toss for prizes.
