Johnson County Fair & Rodeo

Rodeo action takes place throughout the day beginning at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday, August 3, at the Johnson County Fairgrounds.

The short/go performances include: junior barrels, ladies calf roping, ranch calf roping, mixed team roping, junior poles, steer wrestling, team tying, senior breakaway and parent/child team roping.

In the main arena, following the grand entry, events include junior barrels, bareback, rookie broncs, team tying, ranch calf roping, ladies calf roping, senior breakaway, steer wrestling, saddle bronc, parent/child team roping, mixed team roping, merchant roping, rookie bulls, bull riding.

Events on the track include mutton busting, calf scramble, calf riding, youth rescue race, adult rescue, foot race, and junior poles.

The Cowboy Hall of Fame inductees will be honored during the rodeo.
