This is the largest meeting space in Johnson County, is just a block off Main Street, and is within walking distance of the historic downtown. The converted school building has two gymnasiums, each capable of holding as many as 300 people, and two smaller meeting rooms for groups of up to 50 and 80.

The Band Room has tiered seating that is great for presentations. The Large Gym (8,287 square feet) includes a stage, which has been used for presentations by actors during the Longmire Days festivities each summer. It also hosts a multiple-vendor craft fair each fall. Bomber Mountain Civic Center has a large kitchen, bathrooms, tables, and chairs. Outside caterers are welcome.

Cowboy Carousel Center

This historic building, just a block of Main Street and walkable downtown, can hold up to 188 people in its meeting spaces. The 3,767-square-foot meeting space has a kitchen. A stone fireplace can be the centerpiece of the room, which can also be sectioned off for smaller groups.

Built in 1920 and known as the Beutler building, it served as a feed store, army surplus shop, and shipping company warehouse over the last century. The building has a wood floor, antique light fixtures and doors from the former Idlewild Hotel, a micro theater, and more. Hampton Inn & Suites

One of Buffalo’s oldest businesses is the Historic Occidental Hotel & Saloon, dating back to 1880. The 18-room hotel has an outdoor space along Clear Creek that can be used in several ways. The Playhouse

Across Main Street, Occidental owners David and Jackie Stewart have renovated an old theater building into a 4,200-square-foot venue space that holds up to 250 people. The Playhouse is a comfortable yet elegant event space capable of hosting presentations, concerts, and celebratory events.

Bozeman Trail Steakhouse & Conference Center
