You’ll find a multitude of hunting outfitters ready to guide you to a successful hunt; from big game, mountain lions and bears to upland game birds. A quality guided hunt is an investment, so do your homework and vet potential outfitters on the Wyoming State Board of Outfitters website to make sure they’re licensed. Once you’ve found who you’d like to hire, ask for references (to find out how their past guests liked their experiences) and ask what a day of hunting would look like. You can choose the type of hunt and outfitter that best suits your taste and ability by understanding what type of terrain you’ll be hunting and hunting methods employed by the prospective outfitter.
