Valentine’s Dinner
SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 14 | The Occidental Hotel has a Valentine's getaway special with dinner.
The Jim Gatchell Memorial Museum presents its annual Echoes of the Past Cemetery Tours.
Walk through Buffalo’s beautiful Willow Grove Cemetery and listen to the first-person stories of historic characters from the region with an appropriate ambiance of chirping crickets and lantern-light. Guests will be guided through the tour on foot, and each night offers a unique experience.
The cast lineup changes each evening throughout the two-week run but may include Amie Holt, Billy Walker, Linna Mueller, Bill Booth, Warren “Ginger” Gorrell, Ella Watson, Katherine Jarrard, William P. Adams, Lutie Van Dyke, a telephone operator, school memories, and a Pioneer Family.
Weekend performances begin at 8:30 p.m. Guests may bring a folding chair, as each of the spirits’ presentations will be about 7 minutes.
Space is limited, payment is required at the time of reservation. Tickets are $30.
Tickets must be purchased in advance, and every person attending must have a ticket. Ticket sales help fund further museum programs. No pets are allowed at the cemetery. We request all electronic devices be turned off, and there is no recording/photography allowed.
